Autumn

So I was procrastinating from studying for my last exam (biologyyyyy) and I decided to enter this contest: unhuman-ocs.deviantart.com/jou…

I was kind of lazy with Cato's outfit. I should have redesigned it properly. If I'm allowed, I might enter twice and draw Noah or something.

On second thoughts, I was kind of lazy with this whole drawing, haha. I'll have to do something better during the holidays.

Technically, it should be Spring in September because that's what it is in Australia, but I wanted to draw warm colors and make things orangey and HK autumn isn't pretty at all, so I just decided screw it. Cato could be in America or Canada. It is totally possible. So there.

I kind of turned this into an exercise in perspective as well. I'm quite happy with how it turned out, even if I did have to use a ton of reference pictures. That patch of grass annoys me though, composition-wise. I was going to draw Min down there, scowling because she dropped her shoes on his head, but then I couldn't figure out how his legs would work at that angle so meh. Tree shadows are hard enough.

It was fun, anyway.
